We open most weeks of the year for 2 hours each week. Some people drop in with specific problems and some people are regulars and the social glue of the group. None of us have training or qualifications in tech support, we figure things out together.
We try to make sure that each week there are 1 or 2 people planning to attend who are comfortable with helping other people to problem-solve, but most people both help and learn themselves. Help is generally one-to-one and therefore responsive to the individual’s goals and style.
